As of 7:20 this morning there are at least TWO King Rails in the Webhannet Marsh, north side at east end of Eldridge Road. Both have been seen well but for brief periods in and between phragmites patches. The birds are calling together and alternately (I recorded both). We are just one shy of Howard Mendall's record of three at one time (that was 8 August 1939 on Corinna Stream in Penobscot Co.). Wow!
