Hi all,
My Birds on Tap - Roadtrip tour with out partners at the Maine Brew Bus found an AMERICAN AVOCET at Pine Point late this morning.
First spotted by Barb Brenneman, it was on the far shoreline of the Scarborough River, opposite the end of the pier at the Pine Point Co-op at about 11:45. 15 or so minutes later, we watched it disappear into the marsh, following the river to the west. Distance and heat shimmer precluded photos or aging/sexing guesses.
