[Maine-birds] More Whimbrels in Flat Bay, Harrington

During this evening's low tide there were 141 Whimbrel feeding on the mudflats between Blaskett Point (Milbridge) and the mouth of the Mill River into Flat Bay (Harrington).  The large flocks of Semi-palmated Sandpipers and Short-billed Dowitchers have left and in their place are both yellowlegs, Black-bellied and Semi-palmated Plover. Lots of Laughing Gulls and Bonaparte's Gulls and Common Terns are here as well.
