[Maine-birds] Merlins around Flat Bay, Harrington

Today while we were scoping shorebirds from our yard (including 19 Whimbrel) two Merlins flew over. One swooped back to land in a tree right over Merle and proceeded to call very loudly. This didn't go over well with the closest shorebirds and many took off down the bay. Merlins can sure wreak havoc with shorebirding!!

Hopefully this is the start of the falcon migration along the Downeast coast.
