[Maine-birds] Re: Yellow-breasted Chat

No luck on finding the chat this morning. There was a Northern Parula in the same area though;

While birding the Eastern Prom this morning I found a Yellow-breasted Chat along the mid-slope trail. The chat was on the up-slope side of the trail, near the large Willow tree at the edge of the baseball field. There was also a late Common Yellowthroat up towards the cannons.

Also of note in the Portland area today were four Black-crowned Night-herons at Mercy Pond and an Orange-crowned Warbler along the Foreriver Trail on Hobart St.

I am limited to cellar internet so I will need to wait to post more details later.

Happy fall birding!
