[Maine-birds] December 30th Crow Roost Patrol Lawrence MA

Yesterday afternoon Bob and I went on crow patrol with Dennis and Jamie Hlynsky of RI all prepared to show them the show as we had told them it would be.

Well, as would have it when we think we know the pattern, it suddenly changed!! This certainly is quite a comeuppance!!!!

The crow had another plan.  They came in from the north and the south. And many staged on the north side of the river in the trees to the east of Duck Bridge in from of the inlet from the Spiget River.

Why had they changed their approach direction? Were they exploring new food sources?  No way to count them last night.

IF YOU SEE FLOCKS OF CROWS DURING THE DAY IN ANY DIRECTION FROM LAWRENCE MA LET US KNOW PLEASE. ALSO, TRY TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE EATTING.

It was cold, windy and quite challenging as Dennis tried to film from the Duck Bridge.

WELL, STAY TURNED AND DO PLAN TO COME AND SEE THEM FOR YOURSELF.
