[Maine-birds] Lubec Bald Eagle Congregation

At 8 this morning I counted 30 Bald Eagles on Lubec mud flats, close to shore. Among the crowd were six adults with the majority sub adults. I also counted six flying and five others perched in nearby trees. Most of the eagles were concentrated in the area where South Lubec Rd. meets Boot Cove Rd.

There were  Black Ducks close to shore and a large raft of Buffleheads in the distance.
