[Maine-birds] Brooksville Eagles and Otters

Yesterday we were treated to 1 mature and 3 adolescent Bald Eagles agitating a large river otter over fish that he/she had caught.   The otter put the fish out on the edge of a large ice flow and the eagles were jumping up in the air and trying to intimidate him from eating the fish.  Mostly,  it didn't work, but one of the immatures managed to snatch a fish,  flew off with it, and it dropped in the water.   He/she went after it and landed in the water as well.   Took off with a lot  feather ruffling. 15 minutes of drama on the Bagaduce River.  Sorry, couldn't get a photo.
