[Maine-birds] Phoebes in Wells

Yesterday, we had our first Eastern Phoebe for the season at our backyard feeders in Wells.  This morning, there were a pair of them.  They have been interested in our bluebird box which already has four bluebird eggs in it and an adult pair of bluebirds who are fiercely defending the nesting box. 

We are going to try and put out another nesting box, away from the bluebird box, to see if we can entice the Phoebes to use it.  Hope it works.
