  • a Bald Eagle flying east past the marker on Stage Island
  • 5 Common Loons in various stages of plumage
  • 38 Common Eider
  • 3 Red-Breasted Mergansers (1 male, 2 female)
Near the pond at Marie Joseph:
  • Merlin flying across the road from the pond by the Marie Joseph spiritual center
  • Black-Crowned Night Heron on the shore next to South Point sanctuary
  • Canada geese
  • 1 Mallard (male)
Off Ocean Ave:
  • Black Guillemot off of the point on Ocean Ave. (plumage in transition)
  • 1 female Common Goldeneye
  • 7 Long-Tail Ducks
  • 27 Common Eider
