Hello Maine Birders,
-- I spent a good chunk of Sunday with my family at Popham Beach State Park in Sagadahoc County.
Scoping the gull roost across the river at the NE end of Seawall Beach, I picked out a Caspian Tern. I will upload a documenting photo to my eBird report later today.
Also of note were a dozen Piping Plovers -- seven on the Popham side and five on the Seawall side. Great to see that species recovering in Maine!
Happy Spring Migration,
Eric
