Walsh has 6-8 parking spots.

The trail is maybe .25 miles (but there are a couple loops if you want to explore further). Fairly easy footing but root and rock tripping hazards. Typical Maine woods.

Take the right trail (north?) and the left "loop". That will take you along a ridge looking over the marsh. There are a few breaks in the brush for clear views.

The trail continues downs to marsh level.

Where would we park while visiting.

Where the birds on the postings are being seen in the preserve.

Any other helpful hints such as the condition of trails? 

Would the footing be a challenge for those of us that are not as agile as we used to be!   🙄

Are they grassy so we would be advised to tuck in and/or wear boots if the morning dew is heavy.

Any other info that would make a visit to the area more enjoyable.
