[Maine-birds] Knox County - Meadow Brook

Amazing nature at this place!! Actually got to watch Green Herons & a Bittern hunting activity. Beautiful adult Red-shouldered flew over me while watching the swallows feeding & drinking on the wing. Watching the swallows I was standing next to an apple blossom. Standing there for 5 minutes or so checking all things in the marsh, I almost missed the 5 orioles wading through the caterpillar hatch right next to me! One of which was a stunning young male. I could just barely see slightest bit of red on on him. At one point I heard the unmistakable noise of a Green Heron, which I haven't heard in ages. And baby ducks. Who doesn't like baby ducks.?
