[Maine-birds] Bremen - hummer

Woke up at 3 a.m. to bring in hummer feeder and prepare an additional
one for the morning. Overslept to find the feeder I left out, frozen
solid; immediately put out the two warm feeders. Thinking the worst
and watching both feeders, no visitors. Finally at 7:55 p.m. a perky
little hummer visited both feeders. This little hummer is confirmed by
Doug Hithcox and others to be a juvenile Ruby-Throat.

Admiration for these little creatures is already high, but after last
night's frigid temperatures, you can only imagine the joy to see it at
the feeder in the warm sunlight.
