Again this morning I saw 4 female Pine Grosbeaks in the vacinity of Blue Jay Way and Penney Lane in Waterville. These are very short cross streets off Pleasanthill Dr which is off Ridge Road, just 1/4 mile off I95 northern Waterville exit. Today they were perched in the sun and chattering noisily on other trees near ornamental cherry trees; so I would check all ornamentals in the area.
I saw them at both 8:45 (4 of them) and 11:30 (6 of them) yesterday; the 2 times I checked and again this morning, so they may be staying in the area.
