I know, I know, everyone (it seems) is reporting Pine Grosbeaks but
not many yet in southern Maine. I saw 3 late this afternoon in the
Roundwood complex on Payne Rd. which is across from Shaws in
Scarborough, near the Maine Mall. This is not very far from
Southborough (where I had recently reported the Cedar Waxwings and YB
Chat). Both of these areas have a lot of fruit trees and are good
places to check for PIGR and BOWA.
