[Maine-birds] Roque Bluffs weekend - White-winged Crossbills and more

We have had two great days up here at Roque Bluffs. Here is the list:

Yardbirds:
Red-breasted nuthatches  4
B.C. Chicks 4 or more
White-winged Crossbills - beautiful! male and female in tops of spruce-- a small flock-   (these are all over the place on Cow Point)
White Throated Sparrow 1

Johnson Cove Rd:
Ruffed Grouse 2
D.E. Juncos small flock
Amer. Robin
Amer. Crow

Englishman's River and Bay:
Great Blue Heron 1 (estuary side of bridge)
Black Ducks 2  (estuary side of bridge)
Herring Gulls - most everyplace, but not tons of them
Common Eider   ditto
Red-breasted Merganser 2

off the rocks at Cow Point
Horned Grebe 1
Red necked Grebe 1
