Trip to Portland today (4 hours at the Social Security office on behalf of my 102yr old grandmother. I feel nearly as old as she IS after that waiting ordeal)
I always count raptors on the trip south and north again on the 295 corridor,
red tailed hawks 4
Northern Harrier 1
Red shouldered hawk 1
only one in flight and that was a Redtailed

I should add, in fairness, that the people at the Social Security office could not have been nicer. It just took, well, 102 years it seemed.
