Because of weather on Monday 17 Dec the York County Christmas Bird Count was held on Thursday the 20th. Results were forecast early by Derek's email in that he had a very good day adding Red-crossbill to the count as well as having several 2nd year birds. The results of the 28 other folks that did the count are impressive, also. For the first time in count history we reached the century mark, 100 species counting count week birds. There were eleven new high counts. Thanks to all who participated. Pat
