Re: [Maine-birds] Vultures pick at visitor's cars in the Everglades

They really do attempt to trash cars. I witnessed it while in Everglades National Parks last month: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wnbirder/8328349052/ The tarps do work.
Not exactly shooting, but I did see a ranger go at them with a broom...

Good thing it's in the Everglades, and not at Disney, or they'd start shooting them again.
