Sally and I missed the purple sandpipers there yesterday, but when we left Cape Neddick, we went to Perkins Cove where found four of them from the Marginal Way trail. Several loons, harleqin and long tails were there as well.
The Purple Sandpiper was a lifer for us. I guess they are not too common around the Chesapeake Bay, where we used to live.
