8:30-9:00 Monday morning viewing of 5 Sandhill Cranes on the lake. Felt quite lucky to have seen them, as once they finished feeding, they just dissolved into the landscape! Later while scanning the area through binoculars, a "gray ghost" Northern Harrier flew into my view, flying right toward me. I've never had that perspective before.
