[Maine-birds] birds on the road

Hi all -- yesterday en route to Rockland from MDI, one Common Loon near the outlet of Toddy Pond in Orland, very visible from Rte. 1. My first inland loon of spring.

Rockland: 1 vocalizing Fish Crow on station at the McLain School.

Weskeag Marsh, mid-afternoon: 40 G-w Teal and a Great Blue.


This morning, Scarborough, at first light...

Pine Point, Pelreco Building, Clam Bake and Dunstan Landing:
Gadwalls (Pelreco and Dunstan)
Am. Wigeons (Pelreco)
No. Harrier male (Pelreco and Clam Bake, prob same bird)
