[Maine-birds] FICR @ Pelreco and other goodies for the day

I made many stops today and there seemed to be good birds in most of those places. I figured it would be better to list them rather than talk everyone's ear off.

 

Red-Bellied Woodpecker - Gilsland Farm

Horned Lark (my 1st here) -  Gilsland Farm

Swamp Sparrow -  Gilsland Farm

Blue-Winged Teal (4) - 2 in the pond past Eastern Rd on Blackpoint Rd and 2 at Dunstan Landing - Scarborough

Lesser Scaup (2) - Grondin Pond-Scarborough

Gadwall (4) - 2 at Grondin Pond and at least 2 behind Pelreco-Scarborough

Fish Crow - Heard calling and photographed on telephone pole in front of Pelreco right on Rte 9-Scarborough

Little Blue Heron (5) - Pelreco

Pied-Billed Grebe (5) - Prout's Pond - Scarborough

Ruddy Ducks (2)  - Prout's Pond - Scarborough

Ring-Necked Ducks (13)  - Prout's Pond - Scarborough

Northern Shoveler (2) - pair in the Spurwink Marsh (Rachel Carlson area)

Iceland Gull - approaching 1st b-day at Mill Creek - South Portland
