[Maine-birds] Lapland Longspur in Brunswick

This morning, a late Lapland Longspur was observed (and heard) with 21 Horned Larks on a weedy lawn area off Orion Street at Brunswick Landing (former BNAS).  The birds may have been flushed off the nearby airfield by a patrolling Northern Harrier.

Singing Eastern Meadowlarks are back on the airfield, and any day now the Upland Sandpipers should be announcing their return.

Good birding,

Gordon
