The black birds (grackles, cowbirds, red-winged blackbirds and starlings) have arrived en masse - noisy as all get out up in the trees! It quiets down a bit when they hit the ground. There've been several ravens as well.
-- The redpolls are still here, along with about a dozen Evening grosbeaks.
The all-year regulars - Blue jays, chickadees, mourning doves, Hairy woodpeckers - continue to show up at their common times.
