At the end of the day I went to the Eagle's Nest in Newcastle. Present and wading just off the shore were 3 GBH, along with a mallard and black couple. Two Osprey's were flying about. A Wood Duck pair there was also. And further out was a raft of Bufflehead's that were splashing about chasining one another. A brace of late Ring-necked Ducks still hanging around aswell. And not 10-15ft away from me were the Palm Warblers. I counted 5 but there may of been more. My first not in fall plumes. A nice treat at the end of the day.
