[Maine-birds] Unity Pond

An American Bittern was calling in the marsh despite the frigid conditions this morning.  Also notable was a pair of Red-necked Grebes on the pond.

 

Yesterday three Purple Martins were noted as having returned to the Field of Dream box (only saw one this morning).
