[Maine-birds] witch hole pond

April 21
oh what a day. Phoebes, loon pair, 9 ring-necked ducks, 3 ruby crown kinglets, a6 golden crown kinglets, 8 palm warblers, 5 yellow rumps, a belted kingfisher, 3 common mergansers, chickadees, nuthatches. Stopped at MD I high school and saw ruby crown kinglets, yellow rumps, nesting geese. Somesville watershed , pair of wood ducks, pair of loons. Heard my 1st hermit thrush in the morning on the edge of my woods. Purple finches at feeder with 1 white throated sparrow, juncos, nuthatches and chickadees. 2 broad wings above.
