Nice morning to be at Evergreen Cemetary with a Winter Wren singing and a nice looking male Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker around (possibly the same bird I saw Saturday). A few Phoebes were around and a low pass over the pond by a Great Blue Heron was good to see.
After work, I flew out to the Scarborough Marsh and heard a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet while driving slowly down Dunstan Landing Rd. At Dunstan Landing, I saw my first Tree Swallow of the year and saw several Wilson's Snipe.
A Greater Scaup was a highlight at Pine Point, my first ever at this location. Nice to have the sounds of Robins singing in my ears!
Bird haahd,
Noah Gibb-Portland
