Re: [Maine-birds] RFI: Bohemian Waxwing, Hoary Redpoll

David and all,

Right now there are 38 Bohemian Waxwings across the street from my house eating bittersweet berries. They have been here on and off all winter, but there is no pattern to when I see them, unfortunately.  I just happen to look out and catch them and then they are gone in about a half hour.

Subject: [Maine-birds] RFI: Bohemian Waxwing, Hoary Redpoll

Hi all,

I've listened with envy in my heart to the postings from north of me of Bohemian Waxwings and Hoary Redpolls, and searched in vain in York County for some of my own. I'm going to be traveling up state next weekend, and will have some free time to bird on Sunday, between Acadia and Portland. I was wondering if anyone knew of any reliable locations to find either Bohemian Waxwings or Hoary Redpoll? Both would be long awaited lifers for me!

Thanks for any info!
