[Maine-birds] nest dates for Osprey

I have been watching a new osprey nest from my office.  The birds have built it on a cell tower and are still attending it, hanging out there, etc.  But not sitting on eggs yet, which gets me to wonder is it too late this year?  Are they just ‘dating’ this year and not ready for the commitments of family life?
