[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights This Week, 7/26-8/1

Hi all,

Some additional observations of note from me over the past seven days included the following:

- 6 Whimbrels, Pine Point, Scarborough, 7/27.

- 1 presumed TRICOLORED HERON X SNOWY EGRET HYBRID, salt pannes along Route 1/9, Scarborough Marsh, 7/27 (photos).

- 15+ Black Terns and 22+ Purple Martins, both including juveniles, Lake Messalonskee area, Belgrade, 7/29 (with Jeannette).

-150-200 Short-billed Dowitchers and 30-40 Roseate Terns, including juveniles, etc, Hill's Beach, Biddeford, 7/30 (with clients). 

- pair of Evening Grosbeaks continue daily in our Pownal yard.
