[Maine-birds] New AOU name, etc. changes
The 55th AOU Checklist Supplement has now come out. As usual it is difficult reading but I could not find any changes for Maine birds. The scientific name of the Clapper Rail is changed to Rallus crepitans due to a splitting from the South American form. And there are many changes to Central American birds, a few of which hit the Southwest US. Looks like no need for a new field guide!
