MALLARDS and BLACK DUCKS are feeding in the circulating pools usually
all winter. Today there was a N. PINTAIL. It is very hard to sneak up on
these ducks, you have to get close to see them, but close to these ducks
means as soon as they see you they fly to the Mousam River. These pools
are on the north side of the plant, and people may walk around up there,
just be careful as there is ice on the ground and they do not want people to
get hurt.
