on Tuesday nor Wednesday morning after driving over 220 miles from Harrington!!
Thanks very much to Robin and Rob and Andrew for their great conversation and information - it was nice to meet you all!!
We also missed the Pink-footed Goose at Salt Bay but Robin made sure we saw the drake Pintail!!
En route home today we saw a drake Barrow's Golden-eye at the Saco site. In Belfast we birded the footbridge and spent way too much time looking for that darned Barrow's there without seeing it....but we so enjoyed looking at two drake Pintails there AND spectacular views of a beautiful adult Peregrine Falcon harassing and diving on an adult Bald Eagle right over the river. The falcon flew towards the Belfast Ship Building site and perched in a tall tree on the skyline behind those buildings.
