Marian Zimmerman called me at 8:15 this morning to report a
Red-shouldered Hawk and N. Shrike at Fuller Farm on Broadturn Rd. in
Scarborough. I went over and was able to observe both. The adult RSHA
hunted the field all morning, catching a rodent and was still there at
noon. The Shrike was not seen again after 9:30. Other birds included a
Red-bellied Woodpecker, 17 Cedar Waxwings, 60 Robins, 6 Bluebirds, 4
Purple Finch, a Raven, Red-tailed Hawk, Sharpie, etc.
