Miserable afternoon at Popham and Ft Popham, but at least the rain was trying to lighten a bit. Only thing at Popham Beach were 320 peeps comprised of SemiSands, LeastSands and 2 White-Rumps. A few BBPlovers, and fewer still Piping Plovers (HMM??) No turnstones, no knots in sight.
On the sandy mudflat at Fort Popham were 2 Red Knots w/ a few BB Plovers. Both in alt plumage, one denser and nicer than the other. In-Flight photos despite the dark, spritzy conditions. Also 2 Bonies, actually fairly recent arrivals here.
Hands got cold, lenses and all glass surfaces got spritzed.
No turnstones at either place.
