There were 8 No Pintails (5 drakes) foraging in very shallow beach pools off Seawall Beach this morning (on low and still receding tide). I've seen them do this in years past. Don't know what their prey might be. Maybe inverts of some kind. No other ducks around here, but dozens of Black Ducks nearby in other habs.
