Hi Don,
Maybe the yellow-throated warbler has flown to our feeder in Bowdoin, Maine! I am going to keep an eye out for it tomorrow as well.

At 8 am today, I made a hasty check of some of the pines on Samoset golf course, wondering whether the yellow-throated warbler had either flown the coop or possibly perished. My brief reconnaissance was non-conclusive to say the least. Then I moved over to where the chat has been lurking along the lighthouse/breakwater road. Some practical photographic advise that I ignored this morning by leaving my camera at home: that camera of yours? - don't leave home without it. The chat not only revealed itself openly, but popped out onto a front branch to taunt me as it foraged and stretched its body at a distance of 30 feet.
