[Maine-birds] SEVEN species of warblers (PRAW, BLBW, TEWA, YWAR, NAWA, COYE, YRWA) and other hightlights from Western Tanager to Snowy Owl, Saco-Biddeford, 12/18

Hi all,
Ignoring for a moment the reality of what this record-shattering warm month is a symptom of, the incredible, unseasonable birding continues.

Luke Seitz and I started at the Saco Riverwalk, pulling out all of the continuing species, between 7:30 and 9:15.
-1 WESTERN TANAGER (just a frustratingly brief fly-by, however).-
-1 BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER
-1 TENNESSEE WARBLER
-1 YELLOW WARBLER
-2 NASHVILLE WARBLER
-1 Common Yellowthroat
-2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets

I then headed over to Biddeford Pool for a couple of hours, finding:
-5-6 Yellow-rumped Warblers
-1 PRAIRIE WARBLER (my 10th warbler of December, and my 7th of the morning! Insane):
The bird was in Pitch Pines on 5th St in the Biddeford Pool neighborhood.
- 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet
- 1 SNOWY OWL, Ram Island from Vine's Landing.

Because nothing goes better with seven species of warblers than a Snowy Owl, right?

-Derek
