[Maine-birds] ANCIENT MURRELET - Machias Seal Island, 5/27

The/an ANCIENT MURRELET was reported by Tim Dunn on 27 May at Machias Seal Island. Assuming this is the same bird, it is really interesting to see it hopping among alcid colonies as it heads downeast.

Here is a list sightings (with photos in each):
13 May 2016 - Seal Island NWR: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S29618565
22 May 2016 - Petit Manan Island: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S29831694
27 May 2016 - Machias Seal Island: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S30019273

And a map of these locations:

I've still got my fingers crossed that it turns south to Matinicus Rock for the 10th: http://maineaudubon.org/events/seabirds-of-matinicus-rock-2016/

Good birding!
