[Maine-birds] Long-billed Dowitcher, American Wigeon, Gadwall, Damariscotta, 11/5, 11/9 and 11/10

Hi Everyone,

There has been a juvenile Long-billed Dowitcher (thank you to Louis Bevier for ID help) at the small freshwater pond on the DRA property on Great Salt Bay. The pond is just downhill from the parking area. The bird was seen on 11/5, 11/9 and yesterday afternoon. I will be posting some photos on ebird. I haven't looked for it yet today. It has been actively feeding in the shallow water in the middle of the pond. There is also an American Wigeon and a Gadwall amid the numerous Mallards and American Black Ducks.

Jeff
