[Maine-birds] Weekend on MDI

Hi all -- Just a few highlights from my home turf near Acadia NP this past weekend:

Brown-headed Cowbird at our feeder in SW Harbor on Saturday

Barred Owl, flushed from a tree in the Seawall Campground loop roads on Sunday

Purple Sandpipers, 14 of 'em, at Seawall Picnic Area shore Saturday

Laughing Gulls, still here, high count of 14 yesterday in high wind / surf conditions

Am Wigeon female, remaining with a flock of Mallard at MDI High School ponds
