Weather:
Today's count was canceled due to the inclement weather. Rain persisted throughout the day, becoming heavy at times. At the time of writing, a coastal flood advisory is in effect.
Raptor Observations:
Non-raptor Observations:
Predictions:
Tomorrow we should see an end to the steady rain. Dense fog could hang around for the morning hours, with mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the day. A chance of small occasional showers remains. Highs may reach into the upper 50s. Winds should be light, mostly from the northeast, with some variability. Early fog might delay the start. If birds do move tomorrow, I suspect to see many of them in powered flight. I'm looking forward to getting back up there. Don't forget, this weekend is the Feathers Over Freeport event. Fun for all ages. Link below. http://www.maine.gov/dacf/parks/discover_history_explore_nature/activities/feathers_over_freeport.shtml
