Hey all,
I was traveling at the time, but seem to remember there was a period earlier when there were some posts where woodcock were starting to show up which was followed by a large snowfall. I think a number of them were rescued in a rather emaciated state. Not sure how many may have arrived in that wave but is it possible that the normal abundance perished at that time due to the storms? Hopefully not, but it seems a likely culprit.
Thank you,
Rob O'Connell
