[Maine-birds] gull turnaround

Hi,

A leg-banded ring-billed gull (F2Z) I have followed in Rockland since 2012 returned to his favored hangout behind the Rockland DHHS building today, which seems a bit early. This bird spends falls and winter in Maine, but retreats to its colonial island breeding site outside Montreal for the spring nesting season. About 45,000 gull pairs nest there. I'm noticing a gradual increase in mid-coast ring-bill numbers at Thomaston Harbor - always checking for the odd mew gull among them.
