[Maine-birds] Seal Island NWR: Royal Tern

Hi all,

It has been relatively slow recently on Seal Island NWR in terms of non-breeding species stopping by the island however, today a ROYAL TERN was a nice surprise. It's the second year in a row that I have observed this species on the island.

There seems to be lot's of good food for the nesting seabirds which is a good sign after last years poor nesting season. Hopefully that keeps up!

Keep an eye out for my eBird checklist tonight which will have a handful of poor photos in it...

All the best,

Keenan Yakola
