[Maine-birds] Quill Hill Info

You may or may not have heard that Quill Hill off Rte16 northeast of downtown Rangely is now charging $10.00 per car to go to the top of the hill. However, the fee is not charged until you are about 3/4 up the hill. From where Quill Hill starts off Rte16 to the second gate is still accessible for birding without the $10 charge. Also if you want to park your car before the second gate you can walk the rest of the way at no charge. I did have a Mourning Warbler here today(Sat. 7/1) at exactly eight tenths of a mile from Rte16. Leon.
