[Maine-birds] 2 Lights, Cape Elizabeth: lots of sparrows & a rabbit with a collar (?)

These state endangered new england cottontails are part of a study where they were relocated to CE from a captive breeding pen. There was an article on this project in the Portland press herald 2(?) Weeks ago. It is in fact a tracking collar being used to monitor survival and movements. Great photos!
